Preliminary goal of this project
To identify and map the easiest, lowest traffic-density
bicycle route across
Canyon County while traveling as
close to the Boise River as possible.
This route will eventually tie in to the Boise Green Belt.
Overall Route Map - 45 miles
to the Ada County Line
The route is mostly a scenic trip through Canyon County
rural areas with little traffic
(except for some highway crossings) and minor
climbing.

Updates:
09/2008- This proposed route has been officially added
to the Boise River Trail Coalition plan.
NOTE- Foothill Road is open, even though
there are "road closed" signs at each end. CHD
says bikes are still OK. |
